October 2021 Madrid International Festival of Light For the first time ever, some of the most emblematic places in the city of Madrid will welcome art and creativity with interventions by renowned Spanish creators and international artists from France, Canada, Finland and Australia, tracing a unique map of light throughout the capital. Over the course of three days, from 29 to 31 October (8pm to midnight), LuzMadrid will light up the city with more than twenty works of art . Using video, light installations, artificial intelligence, movement, and projection mapping, this unique, free experience open to all comprises an exclusive tour of city landmarks such as the Cibeles Palace , the Puerta de Alcalá gate , El Retiro Park , the Prado Museum , the Metrópolis Building , Puerta del Sol , Plaza Mayor , and the Royal Palace .
